Real Madrid decides to get rid of Vinicius and determines his replacement
Vinicius Junior is unstoppable on and off the pitch . Controversy follows him on the pitch, where he puts on a show in every game, whether with his rivals, the referees or the opposing team’s fans. Added to this are his outbursts off the pitch, with statements such as those in which he calls Spain racist and questions the suitability of it being able to organise the 2030 World Cup by depriving the Bernabéu of hosting the final.
Words that have not gone down well with the club and even less so with the fans, who are starting to get fed up with him. His future in Madrid is starting to be questioned and Madrid are no longer ruling out his departure.
Many Real Madrid fans are beginning to think that if he is so unhappy in Spanish football, if he feels persecuted, the best thing he could do is go to another country where there is no racism or social injustice and accept the multi-million dollar offer he has from Arab football. Real Madrid do not rule out his departure after this brutal offer that attracts the Brazilian and they think of Nico Williams as a possible replacement.
Vinicius’ character clashes with the image that the club wants to project to the world , controversial, challenging and harmful to predispose rivals and referees against the team. He was the standard-bearer after the departures of Cristiano, Bale and Benzema . He is in his seventh season with Real Madrid, a journey in which he has gone from less to more to become one of its stars, but Madrid has strengthened since then with Bellingham and Mbappé, in addition to Rodrygo, Güler and Brahim.
The club believes that there is the material to succeed with or without Vinicius , as well as other possible signings such as Nico Williams, Wirtz or Haaland himself. They value the Brazilian’s talent, but criticise his behaviour.
Even his teammates consider that his attitude does not favour the team, and they even “read him the riot act” after the game in Las Palmas , according to Eduardo Inda. It is not the first time that the dressing room has called him to order , and it will not be the last.
His departure would no longer be traumatic in a team full of stars and top-notch forwards. Nico Williams would fit perfectly into the Whites’ attack as Vinicius’ replacement. His release clause is affordable, 58 million euros, and if they transfer Vinicius they could even sign one or two more players from the Bilbao native with the money the Brazilian would leave in the box.
Vinicius has a contract until 2027 and no one rules out his departure, even if Madrid leaks that he is untouchable.
