Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain compete to sign €130m player

Catalan newspaper Sport said that Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain are competing for a striker worth 130 million euros to sign him in the next summer transfer window.

Barcelona is seeking to strengthen its team, which is currently performing at an unprecedented level and achieving results, but it is not stable in this regard, as it stumbles from time to time, as happened against Osasuna and Real Sociedad.

As for Paris Saint-Germain, it seeks to compensate for the departure of its first star, Kylian Mbappe, to Real Madrid with a winger at a high level and capable of scoring many goals.

Therefore, the two teams entered into a competition to sign the Georgian player, Kavaratskhelia, from Napoli, as Paris Saint-Germain seeks to incite the player not to renew his contract, which will expire after two seasons.

According to Sport, the brilliant winger has not yet signed a renewal contract with Napoli, which will help any of the two clubs wishing to sign him to negotiate easily with the Italian team, which will fear losing him for free after one season.

The same newspaper says that Kavaratskhelia now prefers to move to Barcelona after the results and impressive performance shown by the team since the start of the current season.

Paris Saint-Germain had offered €130 million last year to sign Kavaratskhelia but Napoli rejected it.
