Barca star admits to teammates that he is close to leaving

Mundo Deportivo reported that one of Barcelona’s important players told his teammates in the locker room that he is close to leaving the club and even specified his preferred destination.

Barcelona had achieved a 2-0 victory over Athletic Bilbao yesterday, Wednesday, in the semi-finals of the Spanish Super Cup, which is good news that coincided with the news of the temporary registration of Dani Olmo and Pau Victor.

Ronald Araujo’s situation remains more than uncertain in the middle of the winter market days after leaving his contract renewal at Barbastro up in the air.

Well, as Mundo Deportivo has learned, the defender has admitted internally in the dressing room that he is seriously considering leaving Barcelona because he is somewhat angry due to different situations.

Araujo sees the main defensive duo as Pau Coparsi and Iñigo Martínez (yesterday he did not play a single minute in the Super Cup semi-final against Athletic Bilbao) and that the club is moving seriously to sign Bayer Leverkusen defender Jonathan Tah, who will be a free agent in June.

Araujo also made it clear in the dressing room that if he were to leave, he would always prioritize the Premier League. It should be remembered that, as the same newspaper reports, Arsenal, apart from Juventus, is one of the other clubs that would already like to sign him in this January market.
