Hansi Flick is furious after the new decision

Spanish newspaper Marca reported that German coach Hansi Flick was furious when he was informed of a new decision during the Catalan club’s training session yesterday.

Barcelona leads the Spanish La Liga standings with a game in hand against Osasuna. The team has also qualified for the Champions League quarter-finals and is awaiting a match against Atletico Madrid in the second leg of the Copa del Rey semi-final.

Barcelona has so far achieved overwhelming success in all the tournaments it participates in, but all of this depends on maintaining the same pace and surviving sudden injuries.

According to Marca, when Hansi Flick was informed in yesterday’s training session that La Liga had set March 27 as the new date for the postponed Barcelona-Osasuna match, he became furious.

She pointed out that Flick did not understand how such a date was set, and how the Spanish Federation could set the timing of a match when it was fully aware that Barcelona would be without players like Raphinha and Araujo, as they would be with Brazil and Uruguay, among others.

She explained that Flick cannot understand how to play a match without being able to rely on all of his players.

Flick is awaiting the outcome of Barcelona’s appeal, which he intends to file in the coming hours, to challenge the announced date. He believes the best time is between rounds 37 and 38 of the league.

The newspaper reported that, despite this, Barcelona is not very optimistic about the possibility of reaching a positive solution.
